Surrounded by mountains, where Tyrol goes a bit to the north, surrounded on three sides by Bavaria, there is Jungholz (1100m). With only one geographical point, the summit of the mountain Sorgschrofen Jung Holzer (1638 meters), the village Jungholz is associated with the motherland Tyrol.

In the Alpine idyll, the 300 souls big constituent municipality Jungholz, Vital Hotel Tirol is located. Since the thirties, the hotel is constantly expanding. It combines traditional Tyrolean cosiness with a stylish design in the restaurant and the Tyrolean Stube with dance floor and the two bowling alleys, but also the modern parts such as the new wellness area with massage. There are also an indoor swimming pool (8x18 meters), whirlpool, sauna, herbal sauna, steam bath and solarium, so you can relax here. Our large spacious rooms invite you to relax, just like the fireplace in the restaurant. Fresh ingredients from the region are used in our kitchen. In the afternoon we like to spoil you with a snack buffet in the panoramic bar.

Children are welcome Vital Hotel Tirol. There awaits them a large and welcoming child playroom with lots of toys!

79 standard and comfort rooms, 4 apartments and 3 suites. The decoration of the rooms is Rustical and features a shower or bath and toilet, hairdryer (on loan from reception), telephone, television, radio, desk and sitting area, balcony or terrace.

The comfort rooms offer a walkable closet and separate toilet and bath. The apartments also have an extra room.

The suites offer an extra room, a bath of high quality including a whirlpool, safe and minibar.

Food & Drink

Our culinary is known everywhere. Our excellent cuisine would, like from early morning until late evening, to treat you. In the Rustical restaurant (including terrace) you'll be surprised in the morning from half past seven with a breakfast buffet. In the afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., we offer you in our cozy and elegant bar with panoramic views, an afternoon snack with regional specialties. In the evening we serve you in our Rustical restaurant or in our Stube with a multi-course evening meal including salad buffet and choice of cheeses. To complete the evening we invite you to our elegant hotel bar or in the romantic fireplace for a cozy drink.

In our charming and cozy home, we find service very important.

The hotelteam is familial. Many of our guests feel at home in our hotel. Another notable point is our culinary with regional impact such as the smugglers buffet.

Junholz is situated high on a sunny terrace at the foot of the 1638 meters high Sorgschrofen. Spacious meadows and mixed forests dominate the landscape around the village Jungholz, that exists from multiple village sections with Langenschwand, Gießenschwand and Habsbichl.

Jungholz, whose municipal area is only 8 square kilometers, is the only Tyrolean town in the Allgäu and is completely surrounded by German territory. Only on the top of the Sorgschrofen Jungholz touches Tirol on a geopmetrisch point, Austria, and thus the motherland.

Jungholz is, thanks to the clean image and its original nature, one of the most popular holiday villages in the Außerfern. Jungholz its guests, with its untouched nature and pure air, ideal conditions for hiking and trips on bike or mountain bike. A unique and diverse flora in early summer attracts many visitors. The supply of recreation includes the heated-Felsen Freischwimmbad, child and youth sports fields, a panoramic trail with outdoor spa and a very special feature in central Europe is the Schnitzerweg with many unique wood sculptures made by young artists from Europe and North America.
