Welcome to Gurk
Gurk, and to the municipality belonging Pisweg, are located in middle Carinthia in the center of the Gurktal. The village is surrounded by lush mountain meadows and beautiful forests. Especially the cathedral is famous and is one of the most important Romanesque churches in Europe (1140 to 1200).

Mountain Sports
A region where you can practice many mountain sports, mostly in the surrounding area. Because of its location, the possibilities are virtually limitless. Of course also mountain biking and hiking are possible on various routes, marked and unmarked.

Water Sports
In the heated outdoor pool you can enjoy on hot and less warm days. Also, the larger and smaller lakes in the region are easily accessible, and offer more water sports.

Recommendation
In the miniature park you are welcomed by your little friends. The park is home to around 1,000 garden gnomes in a beautifully landscaped garden. The family friendly park is a miniature adventure paradise for children.
