Welcome to Ischgl
One of the most famous and most popular holiday villages in Austria. Ischgl is best known for the Winter sports and topconcerts held during the opening and closing of the winter season. Yet you can also enjoy a perfect summer vacation, surrounded by mountains, many events and hospitable people.

Mountain Sports
Mountaineering is something unique in this area, because some of mountain sports (like hiking) just give you the feeling you're a smuggler by the proximity of the duty-free Samnaun. A wonderful area to enjoy, and that is the goal of mountaineering.

Water Sports
A village whith several opportunities for swimming, as in the Pardatschsee, the indoor pool in the Silvretta Freizeitzentrum and the swimming pool the Waldbad Silvretta. Both pools offer many facilities and opportunities. Rafting is eg. in Pians offered.

Recommendation
The Swiss Samnaun is not far, and offers plenty of opportunity for tax free shopping. 50 Duty Free Shops offer you ample opportunities to get away, and above all cheap shopping. Keep in mind the permitted quantities, as with regularity are the customs checks.
