Welcome at the Ossiacher See
The Ossiacher See is seen by many tourists as one of the most beautiful lakes in Austria. Clear water, lots of water fun and a summer water temperature to 27 degrees. Moreover, the lake is surrounded by beautiful and rustic villages where the living is good.

Mountain Sports
Around the lake many mountain sports are offered, ranging from beautiful hiking trails (around the lake and on the surrounding mountains) to challenging mountain bike trails. Paragliding is offered at the Gerlitzen. A beautiful mountain sports offered here is the summer toboggan run in Ossiach. The run has a length of 760 meter and is right on the Ossiacher-See-Süduferstraße.

Water Sports
The Ossiacher See offers enormous possibilities for water sports. Sailing, surfing, fishing and swimming are a favorite summer activity, but also a passive water sports like a cruise on the lake, is possible. Not only fun for the kids, the inflatable iceberg in Ossiach. Three sides are used to climb the iceberg, the fourth side is a nice slide into the lake. On rainy days, the indoor swimming pool is recommended.

Ship Ahoy, on the Ossiacher See. The MS Ossiach provides a boat excursion on the lake, and it might seem only for older people, but it is advisable for everyone to see the beautiful surroundings and charming rustic villages from this 31 meter long boat.
