Techelsberg am Wörthersee is especially known for its wood carving. In the area around the village are some nice statues and crosses. The key is the Tschachonig cross, with 8 meter high one of the largest in Carinthia.

Mountain Sports
Several hikes, bike rides and tours on the mountainbike in the vicinity of the village and the surrounding Wörthersee are possible. If you want Paragliding or rafting you should go to the mountains, for example Gerlitzen.

Water Sports
The water sports are practically limitless around Techelsberg. Everything is here or in the immediate surroundings possible. The Wörthersee is very popular in the summer for sailing and water skiing.

Recommendation
The wood carving is world renowned. Of these, in and around the village there are some nice examples. The Tschachonig cross is definitely worth the visit.
