Mountain Sports
A region where you can enjoy wandering through the landscape, whether it is on beautiful hiking trails, while Nordic walking, mountain bike or bicycle. There are several opportunities to enjoy climbing, and horseback riding. And using the Innerkremser Seilbahnen you get quickly and comfortably on top of the mountains. The longest suspension bridge in the world, around which many opportunities for hiking are offered.

Water Sports
The region offers something unique. Fishing at 1650 meters altitude in the Almsee, near the Lamprechthütte. Besides that, the Adventure pool in Gmünd and the outdoor swimming pool in Malta offer many ways on hot summer days to enjoy the water fun.

Porsche Automuseum in Gmünd. With lots of high idealism and personal commitment, the Gmünder antiques dealer Helmut Pfeifhofer established in 1982 the first and only Porsche's museum in Europe, which is entirely privately owned. Here's everything from the first Porsche structures through Austro-Daimler, Steyr and Volkswagen until Porsche to repeatly became a winner on all streets and racetracks worldwide.
