A region that has many mountain sports to offer, alongside an extensive network of hiking trails, bike paths and mountainbike routes and trails.
For those who like mountain climbing and hiking in the mountains, a very suitable region. For gliders and Nordic walking there are excellent opportunities.

For water sports perhaps a less known region. Yet you can enjoy extensive opportunities like sailing on the Thiersee.

Wildpark Wildbichl.
A special trip for the whole family is the Wildbichl Wildlife Reserve, which is open all year. “Animal and Nature” is the theme of this game park, where you can see various native animals in their natural and unspoiled environment.
Römerhofgasse.
The historic old town of Kufstein where you’ll, during a walking tour, stop regularly to watch. For Example at the world famous “Auracher Löchl”, the old winery and the monument to Karl Ganzer (Kufstein Composer of the Kufstein song).
Innschifffahrt.
On the ‘St. Nicholas’ you can sail you down the Inn from Kufstein to Ebbs, Kiefersfelden, Niederndorf and Oberaudorf. The boat trip takes about two hours and can be made in the period beginning May to mid October.

The region, and especially the fortified city of Kufstein, of course, are known to surprise with the many high-level events, which the region offers every year.
