Mountain Sports

Mountain Sports have made the Tyrolean Ferienregion Tirolmitte a popular summer destination.

Numerous marked (and unmarked) trails, many bike trips and mountain bike trails, and several other mountain sports such as paragliding, canyoning and climbing are offered throughout the region.

Water Sports

The Inn is the lifeline of this area. In several places it is possible to go rafting or canoeing.

In Silz is the 1st Tyrolean Innflösserei located, where you can raft on the Inn with a guide.

Sightseeing

Wangalm

The Alm lies at an altitude of 1.753 meters. In the summer, sheeps, cows and horses of the Telfer farmers are on the alm. From the Alm, situated on a hill, you have a fantastic view of the Ötztal, the Stubaital and the Zillertal.

The Alm can be reached in 1.5 – 2 hours on a broad Forrestroad.

Mair’s Beerengarten

On approximately 5 acres, red and black berries, strawberries, raspberries, mountain kiwis, cherries, and many more types of fruit are grown. From the fruits, 60 different products are made.

Stift Stams

The impressive Abbey was built in 1.273, and is the final resting place of several Tyrolean Sovereigns. Of the current Abbey, mainly the interior and the library with old books, are huge attractions.
