Beautiful and challenging hiking trails, including walks around the Hinstersteinersee. The summer lifts ensure in addition, that you can get very easily (with or without MTB) in the middle of the mountains.

Water Sports
In Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser, the Hintersteinersee is the principal possibility to enjoy water sports. This beautiful lake is crystal clear, the swimmingpool is certainly in the summer months very attractive, and there are several walks around the lake. The lake is known as one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the nature of the Wilden Kaiser.

Recommendation
At 1650 meters altitude (near the summer lift), is the Kaiserwelt Scheffau. The play park has almost everything to offer that a child wishes for. What about a real Viking boat and the Rhinoswing.
