In Brandberg the world seems suddenly quite good. The Ache and the fascinating Tiefenbachklamm and Kaiserklamm (gorges) are exciting natural wonders. Hikers and rafters will feel right at home in the region. The village is easily accessible, and is only 7 km from the exit Kramsach on the highway.

Mountain Sports
In the valley you can use a large number of well-maintained and marked hiking trails, for all abilities. For mountain bikers, there are many possible routes. Which is to say that the valley in mountain biking might be undervalued. Climbing is possible in Natur Hochseilgarten in Kramsach.

Water Sports
Always a popular bathing possibility, the wild romantic Brandenberger Ache, which rises from the Spitzingsee in Bavaria and especially in the summer brings cooling down. Fishing is allowed in the Ache with a fishing license.

Recommendation
Naturpark Matzen. Just south of Brixlegg, approximately 300 meters from the Inn lies Castle Matzen. The castle itself is a museum, and numerous hiking trails around the castle invite for short or longer walks.
