Welcome to Wiesing
The lovely village in the fertile green of the Unterinntaler landscape. The village is bordered in the north by the steep limestone walls of the Rofangebergte, the gentle hills in the west which have arisen by the Inntalglaciers and in the east the forested mountain ridges.
Mountain Sports
The village and the region offer good opportunities for many mountain sports. As various walks, mountain hikes and challenging mountain bike routes through eg. the Inn Valley. An active holiday is offerd in this region. Other mountain sports in the region are offered around the Achensee, such as rafting and paragliding.
Water Sports
Around the Achensee there are enormous opportunities for water sports. Sailing and surfing, Kite surfing, but also swimming pools at the various beaches around the lake. The bathing beaches are all equipped with sunbathing areas and offer various options such as playground, slides, etc. You can also swim in the swimming pool of the Inntal camp site.
Recommendation
The Kanzelkehre is a popular resting place with an impressive view of the Inn Valley and the surrounding mountains. The Kanzelkehre lies between the village and the Achensee, at the Achenseestraße (B181).
