Niederndorf is a pleasant and peaceful holiday village, and lies surrounded by beautiful mountains at the foot of the Kaiser Mountains. Typical for the village is the pilgrimage chapel Maria Heimsuchung that was built in 1778 on the Hechenberg. The chapel is an attraction that you really can not miss.

Mountain Sports
A region that has many mountain sports to offer, alongside an extensive network of hiking trails, bike paths and mountainbike routes and trails. For those who like mountain climbing and hiking in the mountains, a very suitable region. For gliders and Nordic walking there are excellent opportunities.

Water Sports
The idyllic and heated forest swimming pool with great adventure slide and 3m jump pool, sports pool and children's pool will let many hearts beat faster. A shady meadow invites to relax and swimming fun. It further provides table tennis and beach volleyball.

Recommendation
Heimatmuseum. In the center, the family Kaltschmid created a jewel of ancient and now forgotten craftsmanship. Definitely worth a visit.
