The village lies almost at the beginning of the valley and about 15 kilometers from the hiking paradise Hochzeiger in Jerzens.

The capital of the district, Imst, is nearby. Imst is not just a nice town, but also offers great possibilities for a day of shopping or to go to the cinema.

Incidentally, also the surrounding valleys are easily accessible, just like the city of Innsbruck, Lake Constance and Switzerland for example.

Mountain Sports
The region is a real mountain sports area. Climbing at the Steinwand Climbing Path, Mountain biking through the beautiful scenery and on challenging trails, or hiking on the numerous marked hikingroutes around the village. Another mountain sport presented here, is fishing in the Fishing area Pitze.

Water sports enthusiasts will find lots of opportunities in the vicinity of Arzl im Pitztal, and the surrounding villages, for rafting, canoeing, and other ways to enjoy the water.
