Karres is a real village to relax and unwind. It lies on the mountain slopes in the Upper Inn Valley, on a quiet and sunny spot. Here you can enjoy typical Tyrolean hospitality and a wonderful view over the valley and surrounding mountains, with the typical mountain Tschirgant, which is 2,372 meters high.

Mountain Sports
Imst Gurgltal is centrally located between the region of Landeck, the Ötztal and the Innsbruck region. This creates a mountain sports area of great size. You never have to be on the same spott, 2 times in a row. Hiking, mountain bike routes, and other mountain sports are also frequently offered in the region.

Water Sports
Among others on the Inn, rafting and canoeing are offered. Several lakes provide cooling. The Rosengartenschlucht with the Blue Grotto offers a special form of water sports, and is definitely worth a visit.
