Welcome to Roppen
Roppen is located between the gates into the Ötztal and Pitztal. A location that is ideal for making various hikes and excursions in the area. Unique is the active nature around the Inn and its location near the outdoor park area 47 that offers a wide range of active sports.

Mountain Sports
The region around the village is a lovely area if you like mountain sports. Numerous hiking trails, several mountain bike routes, and many opportunities for climbing, rafting or paragliding.

Water Sports
Water sports are offered throughout the region, and with the Inn and the Ache in the Ötztal it is of high level. The outdoor park area 47 offers rafting and swimming in the lake in the park. There are more possibilities in the area, such as the swimming pool and rafting offered by various providers in Sautens. At least as spectacular and certainly less expensive than the large outdoor park.

Recommendation
Turmmuseum Ötz. The building itself is worth seeing, but the museum has a collection of high standards. The center of Ötz largely remained in original state, despite the many building projects in recent years. Definitely worth a visit.
