The various castles and palaces have played a major rol in the history of Val Gardena. Recommended is a visit to the Fischburg and the ruins of castle Wolkenstein.
Museum Gherdëina
The museum shows unique collections and takes the visitor on an exciting journey through the natural and cultural history of this special mountain valley in the Dolomites.
Monuments
Several monuments can be viewed in Val Gardena. Such as the Purger monument, the Luis Trenker monument and the monument as memorial to the great mountaineer Emilio Comici at the foot of the climbing wall "Parëi the Ciampac"
