Autrans lies in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Vercors, and is a unique French ski village with ancient monumental buildings. The resort is best known as a destination for cross country skiing, with 130 kilometers of trails.

Also unique are the 15 km artificial snow covered cross country trails.

The ski resort offers beautiful and well-maintained slopes for all abilities. The ski resort has two separate areas with slopes, Le Claret on the outskirts of the village and the valley end la Vallée Sure.

In addition, the village has a toboggan run, winter hiking trails, separate slopes for sled dogs and different routes for snowshoeing.

Autrans is the main place for cross country skiing in France.
