Olympic sports and traditions in La Toussuire.
La Toussuire is located in the heart of the big ski resort Les Sybelles, and provides access to over 300 km ski runs. It is the highest ski village, and the snowiest ski village in ski resort Les Sybelles.
The village is not really old, and partly because of this the wood-paneled houses have more charm, and it looks a lot nicer.
The resort offers a nice mall, but unfortunately not free of cars.
It is also a winter sports destination with many traditions in sport, and is the birthplace of the Olympic champion from Salt Lake City in 2002, Jean Pierre Vidal.
La Toussuire provides access to over 300 km ski runs.
