Merano is perhaps the most famous place in South Tyrol, and that is not for nothing. A great cultural center with numerous museums, a great history and lots of stuff to do while you still can start enjoying the mountains and nature.

Mountaineering in various shapes and sizes. Extensive walking like in the Texel Group Nature Park, beautiful mountain bike trails and many other sports in the outdoors, but also indoors.

Water Sports
The region offers many opportunities to cool off in the summer months, but even more. For example the Therme and the impressive waterfall in the Passeiertal.

Recommended excursions include the Merano Meran Corn Horse Place, the many monuments, castles and palaces throughout the city, and of course the thermal baths.
