Winter Aosta Valley

Winter sports Aosta

Ski holidays in a beautiful country

Around Breuil-Cervinia and Courmayeur.
The Aosta Valley, Valle d'Aosta, offers good opportunities for winter sports, with most opportunities concentrated around the ski villages Breuil-Cervinia and Courmayeur.

These two villages are the most popular ski villages in the region, and therefore attract the most tourists.

Especially Courmayeur, on the French border, is very popular, and here you can ski into Switzerland or France, through the Monte Bianco.

The region has famous mountains and ski resorts, which are certainly not inferior to the major ski resorts elsewhere in the Alps, such as Monte Rosa, the Matterhorn and Gran Paradiso.

The ski areas are modern, have good facilities and modern lifts, and the region is less expensive than other major ski destinations.

Want some more rest in the winter, then the Aosta Valley also offers the perfect destination in resorts like Campoluc and Valtournenche.

Another feature of the region, the cordiality, which you can find also in all hotels.

The cordial region also guarantees enjoying.

Not only on the beautiful slopes, but also outside the slopes.

This starts for example with the apres ski, or while eating in one of the many restaurants.

Here you perceive really, how versatile this northern part of Italy is. It's a real region, for epicureans.

Moreover, the region is located on the sunny side of the Alps, although you can get pPretty much snow here. So you have the best of both, lots of snow, and lots of sun.

Off piste

Extensive opportunities outside the slopes.
In the Aosta Valley also several other winter sports are offered, but especially for anyone who wants to go skiing or snowboarding, off piste, there are ample opportunities.

For example, in Cervinia, were there are ample opportunities for experienced skiers, and you can admire the beautiful scenery up close.

Ski along the Toulagletscher, all the way down to the entrance to the Mont Blanc tunnel.
