Gestratz is the smallest municipality in the district Westallgäu, and was already founded in the 8th century as parish community by the St. Gallen monastery. A wonderful area for long walks, and enjoying the soothing scenery.

A quiet landscape, which is ideally suited for long walks along several villages where you sleep in different places.
Water Sports
In the Westallgäu, you can experience water in a unique way along among other the Westallgäuer Wasserwege, but also in various pools and lakes.
Recommendation
Worth seeing are the Parish Church St. Gallus from the years 1435-1437, and the Heimathaus.
