Welcome to Elsbethen
Elsbethen is located south of Salzburg at the foot of the gently sloping Gaisberg. An idyllic village that an ideal base for sightseeing in and around the city of Salzburg. If you want to see culture and tradition in the village, then the local history museum is worth a visit.

Mountain Sports
A region where you can make great tours on a mountain bike and great hikes. The city invites to be explored with the horse carriage. Yet it is certainly advisable to also look at the city during a biketours and explore the region this way. You will see wonderful places this way, that lie outside the usual routes.

Water Sports
Through the region there are a wide range of opportunities for swimming, fishing and other water sports. The region is very compact, and therefore you are always close to the city. Yet even a bit further away, such as the Russbacher Wasser- und Adventure Park, plenty of exciting opportunities for water sports can be found.

Recommendation
The dry gorge. The concept of dry gorge already indicates that not the power of water is responsible for the creation of the gorges. As, For Example is the case in the Glasenbachklamm, which arose by the erosion force of the Klausenbach. Unique are the ferns. There are 18 different species.
