Mountain Sports
A region where you can experience the best tours on the mountainbike, also in the surrounding valleys like the Salzburg Sonnenterrasse. The powerful thermal current creates special opportunities for paragliding and dragon flies, and obviously you can enjoy many beautiful hikes in the valley and the mountains.

Water Sports
Enjoy a wide range of water sports offered in the region. You can swim in the indoor Solarbad Dorfgastein with water temperatures between 26° and 28°, and in the Gasteiner bathing lake. Eeally enjoying is possible in the thermal baths Felsentherme Bad Gastein, pure relaxation in the healing water in the stone surrounded by grottohal.

Recommendation
Burg Klammstein was first mentioned in a charter in 1272 and remained until 1524 the administrative center of the valley, the castle underwent extensive renovations in 1972, and is partly a museum where the history of the castle and its surroundings is told.
