The quiet evolved farming village Lance, is a genuine Tyrolean village with a Tyrolean heart. Only a few kilometers away from Innsbruck, the village offers exceptional varied recreational opportunities. For example a 9 hole golf course, a beautiful miniature golf course and a shooting range, horse riding and unique opportunities for a summer filled with dance, culture, theater and art in Innsbruck.
Mountain Sports
Outside the possibilities to enjoy different (mountain) sports within the city limits, there are a large number of villages in the vicinity of the city and in the Sellraintal. Thus, a large number of mountain sports are possible. For example paragliding, hiking, mountain biking, cycling, rafting, horseback riding, and much more. If you're in town to spend your holiday, it is therefore highly recommended to visit the other villages.
Water Sports
The Lansersee is surrounded by forests and meadows, in the mids of a magnificent mountain scenery. An alpine lake with approximately 35,000 m² of water surface and a large lawn. The water temperature from June to September is 20-25 degrees.
Recommendation
In the old Stubaitalstation in Innsbruck is the Museum of Tyrolean museum trains. Here you will find a list of all trams and branch lines in Tyrol. The depot houses historic rail vehicles.
