Welcome to the Mieminger Plateau
The region Mieminger plateau is about 40 kilometer west of Innsbruck. An oasis of idyllic meadows and pastures, the Fernpass lakes and rugged mountains. If nature has its origin somewhere, than it must have been here.

A region with typical Tyrolean villages and Tyrolean hospitality, surrounded by high mountains and beautiful pine forests. A wonderful combination of relaxing and active sports.

Mountain Sports
A region where you can make beautiful hikes, and can enjoy challenging mountain bike trails. You can also go canyoning in the region, and this sport is definitely recommended to try in your holiday. Not only a challenging sport, but also the experience of wild nature will certainly please you.

Water Sports
The Region offers several opportunities to enjoy various forms of water sports. A good area for rafting, and perfect for swimming. For example in the emerald green Fernsteinsee or in the swimming lake in Mieming. The region also offers a number of indoor pools, and you can rent a boat on the Fernsteinsee and Samerangersee.

Recommendation
There is nothing more beautiful than on vacation in the summer with the whole family, and everyone has a great time. In the Kindertraumhaus children are the boss, while parents enjoy a nice walk or an other activity. The Kindertraumhaus offers a lot of activities and children will have a lot of fun.
