At the crossroads of the Klostertal, the Montafon, the Brandnertal and the Walgau, lies the quiet holiday village Nüziders at the center of a breathtaking mountain panorama. An ideal starting point for various activities and excursions. Here you can relax and find good friends.

Mountain Sports
A perfect area for several hikes with more than 400 km of marked hiking trails and 14 shelters in the five valleys, and mountain bike tours in various degrees. The modern cable car takes you quickly and comfortably on the muttersberg at 1400 meters, where you will not only find breathtaking views, bu also more opportunities for mountaineering.

Water Sports
For water sports, this too is a great region. For Example, the indoor Alpen Erlebnisbad und Saunaland "Val Blue" in Braz is definitely worth a visit. Fishermen find in the valley ample opportunities to fish in the Alfenz, lake Nüziders, the Formarinsee and ÖBB reservoir.

Recommendation
The Castle Ruins Sonnenberg was rebuilt in 1409 - 1410 by Bishop Hartmann of Chur after a fire. In 1473 the castle was occupied by the Felkirchern and burned again. Since then the building is in ruins.
