Mountain Sports
The region offers tremendous opportunities to enjoy different forms of mountaineering. The region has a glider field in Höfen, and offers paragliding in several places. The possibilities for challenging hiking and mountain biking tours are simply overwhelming. The Boulder Arena offers ample opportunities to enjoy climbing.

Water Sports
Water sports are offered in the Adventure pool in Weißenbach, and in the five lakes in the region, the Alatsee, the Frauensee, the Heiterwang See, the Plansee and the Urisee. The lakes are renowned for its excellent water quality, and offer not only opportunities for swimming, but also water sports like fishing, boating and surfing.

Recommendation
The Alter Gaichtpaß is a historical street which was built around 1500 and was used to transport the salt from Hall to Bregenz and the foothills of the Alps.
