Welcome to Zell am See
Zell am See is situated at the foot of the Schmittenhöhe, and is seen as the jewel in the Austrian Alps. Far beyond the borders, the idyllic village is known. In the summer, all the benefits of the Salzburger Land are combined, a rough mountain climate, clear water in the Zeller See, soft green pastures and in winter one of the premier ski destinations.

Mountain Sports
A mountain and region that have a lot of mountain sports to offer. The possibilities are virtually unlimited, thanks to the extensive summer services of the various cable cars. Unique are the opportunities for mid-summer skiing in the glacier ski resort Kitzsteinhorn.

Water Sports
Watersports is available in this region in all shapes and sizes. Various options are offered directly around the lake. For example, fishing and swimming. On the lake there are also ample opportunities for surfing and sailing. Rafting and kayaking are offered at various locations. Furthermore, the region has some good swimming pools and a couple of really beautiful indoor pools.

Schiff am Zeller See. Onto the Lake: on a panoramic tour of the Zeller See. Experience Zell am See and the high Schmittenhöhe from the water. Also worth visiting is the local history museum housed in the Vogt- oder Kastnerturm, Which was mentioned for the first time over 1000 years ago.
