Winter sports in Vorarlberg is enjoying two worlds.
In Vorarlberg, you can actually enjoy twice the winter, since the region lies between the two most attractive ski areas in Europe.
On the one hand Tyrol, and on the other the beautiful ski resorts in Switzerland. And the charms of the two different ski areas, is noticeable at the atmosphere and facilities of the ski resorts.
Vorarlberg is not yet discovered for winter sports, with a few exceptions, which are also immediately the major ski resorts in this part of Austria.
In Vorarlberg, you can still enjoy on many ski resorts the quiet ski holiday, without much ado on the slopes, or long queues at the lifts. Child and family friendly, yet with good facilities.

But, winter sports in Vorarlberg has another side to offer. The more major ski resorts, which are incidentally no less child or family friendly, but much more touristy.
