Mountain Sports
A beautiful region to enjoy various mountain sports. A new walking experience you gain on the 200 km long Lake Millstätter See Höhenstieg, the mountains around the lake combined together. Eight stages at an altitude of 600 to 2600 meters with a beautiful view.

Water Sports
Water sports, or rather the enjoyment of water is everywhere offered around and on the lake. Virtually all water sports are possible in this region, fishing, swimming, diving and sailing. A lovely place to enjoy the sun which shines excessive here in the summer.

Recommendation
The ruins of Castle Ortenburg are at the end of the bee trail, and both are worth a visit. The first Carinthian Hand Work Museum is housed in a former monastery, and shows the handwork of the industrious people.
