Mountain Sports
A beautiful region to enjoy various mountain sports. A new walking experience you gain on the 200 km long Lake Millstätter See Höhenstieg, the mountains around the lake combined together. Eight stages at an altitude of 600 to 2600 meters with a beautiful view.

Water Sports
Water sports, or rather the enjoyment of water is everywhere offered around and on the lake. Virtually all water sports are possible in this region, fishing, swimming, diving and sailing. A lovely place to enjoy the sun which shines excessive here in the summer.

Recommendation
The Roman Museum Teurnia. A few kilometers west of Spittal is St. Peter in Holz. During Roman times this was the city Teurnia. The most valuable find is the mosaic floor. One of the most beautiful and best preserved mosaics from the late Roman period.
