The Idyllic Edlbach is located in the Windischgarstner Tal and is a typical tourist village. A breathtaking mountain scenery which is combined with a modern 18-hole golf course - par 71. This ensures a golf game where you can enjoy, along the former Edlbacher Moor.

Mountain Sports
This part of Upper Austria offers aopportunities for mountain sports, as you even in the better-known regions in Austria not always will find. You can almost not think of a mountain sport, whether it is possible here. Climbing, paragliding, mountain biking, hiking, rafting and canyoning, Nordic walking, and some very nice tennis courts.

Water Sports
The new beachpool provides swimming fun including beach volleyball, playground and a large sunbathing area. Fishing is possible in the Gleinkersee, Klaus reservoir, at the Singerskogel, the Lambergerteich, Schiederweiher and the beautiful river Steyr. Rafting is offered in the region.

Recommendation
Panoramaturm Wurbauerkogel. The new visitor center of the national park Kalkalpen on the Wurbauerkogel near Windischgarsten, simply impresses by the unique panorama tower and the recommended exhibition "Fascination Rock".
