In the heart of the Bregenzerwald lies the lovely village of Egg. It is called the secret capital of the Bregenzerwald, because all main streets in the valley come together here. An oasis of calm with many recreational opportunities and a large dose of relaxation.

Mountain Sports
A perfect area for various types of mountaineering. The region offers, among other, very large opportunities for hiking and mountain biking. Mountaineering here is nothing less than wonderful and fully enjoying outdoor activities between green hills and mighty mountains. Or enjoy it floating through the air.

Water Sports
The Egger swimming pool is one of the most modern swimming pools in the Bregenzerwald. It offers a jump tower with 1 and 3 meter board and a 50 meters long slide for children and adults. A large pool and a sunny lawn, table tennis and playground are also available.

Recommendation
Sommerrodelbahn Bizau. Up with the double seater chairlift to the Hirschberg. From the middle station you go down the world's longest summer toboggan run. The toboggan run is 1850 meters long and has 80 beautiful curves.
