Fügen is the most famous place in the 1st Ferienregion im Zillertal. The ideal holiday destination in the summer to discover the "most active valley in the world". Because the tourist attention, there are a lot of accommodations in the valley.
Mountain Sports
Around Fügen is a wide range of mountain sports offered. Not only is it an ideal hiking and mountain bike area (partly because of the summer schedule of the Spieljochbahn), also typical mountain sports like paragliding, canyoning and rafting are offered in the area.
Water Sports
Watersports is quite unique here. Of course there are good opportunities for swimming, and rafting. Unique are the boat tours. Experience the journey with a "inflatable boat" on the wild waters of the Ziller.
Recommendation
At the Spieljochbahn is the "Erster Zillertaler Kinderklettergarten". Climbing is the passion of the mountain guides in the region. The climbing garden offers (young) children the opportunity to learn this wonderful sport, exercise and next year a step further.
