Around the lake in several places the opportunity to enjoy water sports is offered. Badeplatz Wesenauer am Fuschlsee is a beautiful natural beach on the south shore including a playground and a lawn. Badeplatz Stöllinger am Fuschlsee also lies on the south shore and offers a beautiful view and is perfect for swimming. The Fuschlseebad offers a 250 meters long beach and large lawn.

Ruine Wartenfels. On the western slope of the Schober, in a truly beautiful location, lies on the rocks the ruin Wartenfels. The castle was built in 1259 by Konrad of Kahlham and can be reached through the footpath to the top of the Schoberg.
