Gallzein is a peaceful holiday haven, where you can spend a wonderful holiday. Surrounded by forests, pastures and meadows full of flowers and nature as this should be. A quiet village where you will not notice much traffic noise, and simply can enjoy a few days vacation.

Mountain Sports
A part of Tyrol, that both winter and summer, offers a wide range of outdoor activities and opportunities for mountain sports. Many hiking routes, climbing routes, opportunities for Nordic walking and mountain biking, but also a fitness trail and cycling paths.

Water Sports
If you enjoy water sports, there are broad opportunities in this region. For example in Badesee Weißlahn, the pool Familien- und Erlebnisfreischwimmbad Schwaz, the pools in Jenbach and Stans, and the indoor pool at Hotel Friedheim.

Recommendation
Ten different chapels can be found on the hiking trail from Gallzein to Schwaz. Most of the chapels date from the heyday of the local mining industry.
