Mountain Sports
This part of Upper Austria offers aopportunities for mountain sports, as you even in the better-known regions in Austria not always will find. You can almost not think of a mountain sport, whether it is possible here. Climbing, paragliding, mountain biking, hiking, rafting and canyoning, Nordic walking, and some very nice tennis courts.

Water Sports
Right next to the tennis courts and mini golf course is the beautiful outdoor swimming pool with large sunbathing area. Here you can enjoy the sun and the warm water of thesolar heated pool. Fishing is possible in the Schiederweiher and the beautiful river Steyr. Rafting is offered in the region.

Recommendation
Panoramaturm Wurbauerkogel. The new visitor center of the national park Kalkalpen on the Wurbauerkogel near Windischgarsten, simply impresses by the unique panorama tower and the recommended exhibition "Fascination Rock".
