Welcome to Horn
Located in the Horner Basin, Horn is the center for the eastern Wadviertel. A history-rich town, known for the Horner Bund of 1608, and a varied region for a wonderful holiday.
Mountain Sports
A region with many potential mountain sports such as nature walks, mountain biking and cycling. For those that like to climb, an appropriate region, with for example Kletterpark Rosenburg.
Water Sports
There are opportunities to swim in the pond in Grafenegg Flussbad Plank, Freibad in Horn, in Gars am Kamp, the Kampbad in Langenlois and a number of regional pools. Also fishing and rafting is offered in the region.
Recommendation
The Naturpark Kamptal-Schönberg, which extends about ± 25 km², in area the second largest park in Lower Austria.
