The area around Kaltenbach is ideally suited for various types of mountaineering. Various hikes are possible, and for mountain biking the holiday village offers something unique such as the Zillertaler Höhenstraße. Other mountain sports are offered in the immediate vicinity.
Water Sports
In the immediate vicinity of Kaltenbach there are several (indoor) pools, with a large dose of water fun. Even with a rubber boat on the Ziller and rafting are possible.
Recommendation
The Alpine Flowerroad runs from the Kaltenbacher Skihütte (1800 meters), which is easily accessible by the Zillertaler Höhenstraße. Here you can admire the beautiful native flower world.
