Obertrum is the nice and pleasant holiday village, with an imperial touch. Near the village stood for 225 years the imperial Beech, and the Beech already stood here as the Emperor Josef visited in 1779 his lands. During a major rescue action, shoots were pulled of the sick Emperor Beech, that now may grow on the site of the old imperial tree. The old Beech was felled by a storm in 2004.

Mountain Sports
Hiking in the mountains around the four lakes is an experience in itself. Yet the region has for lovers of mountain sports much more to offer. Various routes and trails for mountain bikers and ample opportunities for cyclists, many opportunities for horse riding, mountain climbing and Nordic walking and much more. Like the Hochseilpark Teufelsgraben. An ideal outdoor trip.

Water Sports
The Obertrumer See. Water of drinking quality, and enjoying water sports in a beautiful mountain scenery. The opportunities for water sports are big in the summer, from swimming to fishing, surfing and sailing.

Recommendation
The Vulcanino. Adventure world for children under 14 years. On a surface of 6,000 sqm, children and parents can enjoy themselves. The indoor playground with 2,500 sqm offers trampolines, climbing towers, a climbing garden, jumping castles, slides and a giant volcano.
