The quaint town Amlach is located south of the city of Lienz, at the foot of the Rauchkofel. Here you can relax, far from everyday stress. Pastures, meadows and forests surround the holiday village, and invite you to a romantic stroll.

Mountain Sports
A region in Osttirol, which has many mountain sports to offer, whether you want to be active high on the mountain or quiet in the valley to enjoy a wide range of hiking tours and mountain biking, climbing on for example, the fixed-rope climbingroute Galitzenklamm, paragliding and much more.

Water Sports
Watersports are offered anywhere in the Alps. In Eastern Tyrol they offer you the enjoyment of water. The beautiful lake the Tristachersee is a good example, open from late May to early September. The region also offers opportunities for fishing.

Recommendation
Wasserschaupfad Galitzenklamm. The Galitzenklamm was already in earlier times an attraction. Along the newly constructed trail, visitors can see the impressive waterfall and the Galitzenbach.
