The Roman street was already near Krems, and how important the mining of iron ore once was, you can still see at the blast furnace in Eisentratten that has a listed status as a Monument. In Innerkrems the romantic Nockalm Panorama Street begins, which surely is one of the most beautiful panoramic roads, and moreover, it runs through a National Park.

The region offers something unique. Fishing at 1650 meters altitude in the Almsee, near the Lamprechthütte. Besides that, the Adventure pool in Gmünd and the outdoor swimming pool in Malta offer many ways on hot summer days to enjoy the water fun.
