Welcome to Kolsassberg
Kolsassberg is a small village located at about 906 meters altitude. The village was first mentioned in 1196, and can be reached through Kolsass. A quiet village, ideal for hiking and mountain touring, such as the route to the Weidener Hut and the Sagalm.

Mountain Sports
A part of Tyrol, that both winter and summer, offers a wide range of outdoor activities and opportunities for mountain sports. Many hiking routes, climbing routes, opportunities for Nordic walking and mountain biking, but also a fitness trail and cycling paths.

Water Sports
If you enjoy water sports, there are broad opportunities in this region. For example in Badesee Weißlahn, the pool Familien- und Erlebnisfreischwimmbad Schwaz, the pools in Jenbach and Stans, and the indoor pool at Hotel Friedheim.

Recommendation
Ruin Rettenberg. Built in the 14th century and formerly owned by the rich and powerful Rottenburger. Partly the stones from teh castle were used in the construction of the church in Wattens.
