Kolsass is a village with history.
Kolsass is located about 20 km from Innsbruck in the Inn Valley.
A village with history. It was first mentioned in a charter from the year 1050.
A village that has remained largely in authentic style, despite construction in the mid-twentieth century, and therefore still is a characteristic piece of Tyrol.
Mountain Sports
Around Kolsass, but also in Kolsassberg, are numerous marked hiking trails, and trails for mountain bikers.
Water Sports
Water sports are offered at the outdoor pools in Stans and Jenbach, and the swimming pool in Schwaz.
Ruin Rettenberg.
Built in the 14th century and formerly owned by the rich and powerful Rottenburger. Partly the stones from teh castle were used in the construction of the church in Wattens.
