Mötz has managed to keep the charm of a typical Tyrolean village. The village lies on the connection between the Inn valley and the Mieminger Plateau and the characteristic is the pilgrimage church of Maria Locherboden, that shines high above the village. A nice and quiet holiday village, beautifully situated at the Inn.

Mountain Sports
The region is in recent years emerging as mountain sports area. Numerous hiking trails, mountain biking and other mountain sports opportunities are offered. The sports center also offers climbing in the indoor Climbing Hall, and various other sports.

Water Sports
The Inn is the artery of this region. Water sports such as rafting are offered on site. Kayaking is a popular sport, and there are courses offered for this sport. There are also several opportunities to swim in the region Tyrol Mitte.

Recommendation
Maria Locherboden. The church is pilgrimage church and day trip at the same time. Characteristic of the church, and unique, are the paintings and ornaments that were created in figurative depictions. Once a month is a night pilgrimage with light procession held.
