Welcome to Silz
Silz is a quiet village, only 5 kilometer from the Ötztal. The region has a sunny and quiet location, away from traffic. The village has not really been discovered by tourists, but still offers many recreational opportunities.
Mountain Sports
Silz offers a wide range of mountain sports, and the central location is an ideal base for mountain sports in the surrounding villages. Because of the location in the Inn Valley, the possibilities are limitless. High mountains for mountain hiking and mountainbiking, and the relatively flat valley for extended cycling.
Water Sports
Because of the central location, there are a lot of water sport opportunities. Locally you can Raft, for example in the Imsterschlucht, and there are several opportunities for rafting on the Ache in the Ötztal.
Recommendation
Silz is not far from the reservoir and the hydro-Silz Kühtai. The hydro offers guided tours. Prior notification is required.
