Schattwald and Zöblen provide a perfect summer vacation. For example the view from the Wannenjoch on the Tannheimer Tal. You do not need more arguments to spend your vacation in this beautifull valley. The villages offer a boundless joy in active mountain sports, the atmosphere in the mountains, and the wonderful Tyrolean food.

Mountain Sports
In the Summer well-marked and easy hiking trails to Alms and Huts lure. Sitting in the grass at 1100 meters altitude, that is really a cool summer. Allready three times the valley was named the most popular hiking destination in Austria. Mountain bikers can enjoy the expanded capabilities in this valley, while the region is also famous for its paragliding and dragon flies opportunities. Around the village there are good opportunities for Nordic Walking.

Water Sports
The Vilsalpsee is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Tyrol, and is surrounded by nature. At he Haldensee there are opportunities for canoeing, surfing and swimming. Swimming in the water of Moorweiher "Flöschen" is great for your body. The region also offers extensive and good opportunities to fish in the Weissenbach, the Nesselwängler Ache, Gräner Bach and the Haldensee.

Recommendation
In the nature resort Vilsalpsee you are surrounded by a beautiful mountain scenery and can experience a rare flora and fauna up close. The nature reserve is located on the southern edge of the valley, covering an area of approximately 16 square kilometers with the Vilsalpsee, the Traualpsee and the Lachensee and surrounding area and the surrounding mountains.
