Steinfeld im Drautal is a small village in the Oberes Drautal. The village is well known for its excellent conditions for paragliding and dragon kites, because the village lies close to the Emberger Alm.

Mountain Sports
The village offers free take-off and landing capabilities for flight school groups, dragon kites and paragliders. Here you can find perfect conditions and a good thermal on the nearby Emberger Alm. Also hiking here is something unique.

Water Sports
Rafting is possible in Irschen at Drauactiv and "walking on the river" is possible in Dellach. From May to September, the Drau offers ideal water for canoe and inflatable boats. Driven by the gentle flow it seems just as you walk on the river. Also swimming is offered in the region in a number of swimming pools and swimming lake Greifenburg.

Recommendation
The Trögerwandhöhlen (caves) lie west of Oberdrauburg and are renowned for their size and amazing colors on the cave walls.
