Mountain Sports
If you enjoy mountain sports, in this area you get the best of two worlds, water and mountains. A wide range of possible hikes, both along the lake and in the mountains. Nordic walking is possible, especially along the lake, and some challenging mountain bike trails and other mountain sports are offered such as rafting, horseback riding and paragliding. Water Sports
The Wolfgangsee is one of the most famous lakes in Austria. And that shows immediately in the range of water sports. In the Kleefelder Wildlife Park near Strobl you can admire special animals from the Alps. Deer, ibex, mountain goats up on a trout pond. The entrance is free.
