Wernberg offers a discovery. Even to yourself. The castle is already mentioned in 1227 (Werdenberch), and the name means something like "being loved by all, and must be worth much". This name says so much about the village and its surroundings. A holiday here must be something unique.

Mountain Sports
An excellent region for various types of mountaineering. Hiking routes in abundance along the various lakes and the surrounding mountains, and several beautiful mountain bike routes, and you have at the Gerlitzen excellent thermals for paragliding.

Water Sports
The region offers several lakes, where a multitude of water sports are offered. Surfing, sailing, swimming, fishing and much more. The experience (outdoor) swimming pool is a place what on hot summer days is definitely worth a visit.

Recommendation
The only child quad trail of Austria in Faak am See. Here children can show their driving skills on the Quads. Absolutely worth a visit.
